Physics learning is a learning process that involves students in studying nature and its symptoms through a series of scientific processes. The learning process requires a driving force or motivation in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of students' learning motivation after being taught using a blended learning-based discovery learning model in physics learning. This research uses a quantitative approach. The type of research is "pre experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design". The population of this study were all students of class X IPA which amounted to 7 classes. The sample was taken by random selection (simple random sampling) in order to obtain students of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kutacane. Data collection techniques used are learning motivation assessment scales (pretest and posttest) and student observation sheets. Data on the results of the learning motivation assessment scale were analyzed using Likert's summeted rating, normality test and t test. Based on the data from the t-test research using the paired sample t-test using SPSS, it was found that H0 was rejected, meaning that there was an increase in the learning motivation of students who were taught using a blended learning-based discovery learning model, thereby creating motivation and interest in learning for students.
