Thesis Title : The Implementation of Think Pair Share technique to Improve Reading Skill In Report text Jor Senior high school

This study is a library research. The objective of this study is to analyze deeply some related theories and/or research findings on the use of Think Pair Share technique in reading class. The discussion is focused on related theories about Think Pair Share technique in teaching reading for senior high school students in order to solve such problems; students lack in mastering vocabulary, difficulty in comprehending English text, and the students feel bored in reading class situation. The data are taken from books, journals. articles, and internet to prove the topic. Based on the analysis of the theories the writer, it is found that think-pair-share technique which has three steps can make students active in teaching reading because of its ability to let students think together, change oneself mind and look for problem solving by running all of the procedures and activities in teaching reading. Think-pair-share technique can build strong cooperation and personal relationship between the teacher and the students in order to make students enjoy their learning process. This technique also can be the best way in building self confident. It is also found that the students can feel enjoy in learning English by using this technique through giving opportunity for them to read English text without a doubt. This study is expected to be useful for other English teachers and readers.
