This study is entitled The Effectiveness of Total Physical Response in Teaching Vocabulary to Young Learners. Vocabulary is very important to be understood by students in order to communicate in English. However, vocabulary is difficult to use by young learners, so the teacher should apply a suitable method in teaching vocabulary in order to increase their vocabulary. The aim of this research is to find out more explanations about the implementation of Total Physical Response to enrich young learners' ability in learning vocabulary. The methodology that is used in this research was library research. it is conducted by searching and collecting references such as books, journals, articles and the
previous research. Based on those sources and references the writer concludes that Total Physical Response is an effective method in teaching vocabulary to young learners. Therefore, Total Physical Response can be one of methods that teacher should consider in teaching vocabulary to young learners.
