Name : Yuliza Student Number : 0606102050070 Study Program : English Education Script Title : The Application of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Total Physical Response (TPR) at Elementary School The topic of this study is the application of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Total Physical Response method (TPR) to develop teaching learning process and enhance students' motivation and achievement in the lessons. The objective of this study is to explore some theories concerning Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Total Physical Response (TPR) which can be applied in elementary level. The main sources of this study were gathered from library study by looking for relevant materials either in the fonn of books, journals and writings. The writer also used reference materials accessed from internet The literature collected from various sources is used as the materials in this study. This study is expected to give a feedback for English teachers who teach in elementary school. Study method used in this minor script is library research.
