Abstrak/Catatan

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of readability and understandability of accounting textbooks, either simultaneously or partially, to students’ suitability. The samples used in this study are students of accounting 2011 who already finished their main subjects in 2015 year of observation. Type of data used were primary data obtained from the questionnaires distributed to the respondents. Statistic method used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that readability and understandability simultaneously affect the students’ suitability on accounting major in 2015 year of observation. Partially, readability has positive effect on students’ suitability and understandability also has positive effect on students’ suitability.
