Prostitution is a phenomenon that has existed for a long time in the world, and Indonesia is no exception. Prostitution in Indonesia dates back to the time of the Javanese kingdoms, which used women as part of the feudal system of commodities. The phenomenon of prostitution is still an unresolved problem. Prostitution or prostitution is a complex social problem, considering that prostitution is one of the oldest civilizations in the world and is still present in our society.The method used in this research is a quantitative method using a correlation survey approach, namely analysis or understanding of theory, which then based on the theory can be determined several variables that will become research variables. Public Perceptions of Covert Prostitution, Case Study of the Joint Jackfruit Village, Lawe Bulan District, Southeast Aceh Regency.The social reaction to commercial sex workers in the localization of Kampung Nangka Gabugan, Lawe Bulan District, shows that there are community members who reject the presence of these ex-sex workers in their midst. This is because they feel disgusted and afraid of being infected by sexually transmitted diseases that these former sex workers can carry. Then the community members feel that the environment where they live is tarnished by the presence of ex-sex prostitutes in their midst.
