Aset adalah semua sumber daya ekonomi atau kekayaan yang dimiliki oleh suatu entitas yang diharapkan memberikan manfaat komersial di masa depan. Pengelolaan peta aset tanah dan bangunan milik Universitas Syiah Kuala yang hanya dapat dilihat dari peta biasa dan belum tersedianya yang berbasis website membuat sulit diakses untuk mengetahui lokasi dan letak tanah dan bangunan aset tersebut secara mudah, hal inilah yang mendorong penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi geografis berbasis web yang dapat diakses secara real time. Sistem informasi geografis berbasis web yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan WebGIS pada penelitian ini dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel dan library Leaflet. Penggunaan Leaflet tersebut berfungsi untuk mendukung serta menyediakan fitur pemetaan berbasis web dengan fungsionalitas yang baik dan script dengan plugin dari pihak ketiga. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Blackbox dan USE Questionnaire yang berfungsi untuk mengukur tingkat kelayakan sistem WebGIS yang sudah dibuat. Hasil pengujian Blackbox dengan menguji setiap skenario fitur dari sisi admin dan masyarakat menghasilkan output sesuai yang diharapkan dan pengujian USE Questionnaire dengan menyebarkan kuesioner ke 35 orang responden menyatakan bahwa WebGIS yang dibuat layak digunakan dengan nilai usability sebesar 89% yang artinya sangat baik sesuai dengan tabel predikat penilaian.

Assets are all economic resources or wealth owned by an entity that are expected to provide commercial benefits in the future. The management of the map of land and building assets belonging to Syiah Kuala University which can only be seen from ordinary maps and the unavailability of a website-based one makes it difficult to access to find out the location and location of the land and building assets easily, this is what prompted this research to be carried out to design and build web-based geographic information system that can be accessed in real time. A web-based geographic information system, better known as WebGIS in this study, was developed using the Laravel framework and the Leaflet library. The use of Leaflets serves to support and provide web-based mapping features with good functionality and scripts with third-party plugins. System testing is carried out using the Blackbox and USE Questionnaire methods which function to measure the feasibility level of the WebGIS system that has been created. The results of the Blackbox test by testing each feature scenario from the admin side and the community produce output as expected and the USE Testing Questionnaire by distributing questionnaires to 35 respondents stated that the WebGIS made was feasible to use with a usability value of 89% which means it is very good according to the predicate table score.
