The objective of this study is to analyze deeply some related theories and/or research findings on the use of Community Language Learning (CLL) method. The discussion is focused on Community Language Learning method in teaching
speaking in order to solve such problems; students less practice English, students feel
less confident and fear to speak English. Based on the discussion of the theories, it is found that Community Language Learning method can effectively use in teaching speaking because of its ability to solve aforementioned problems by running all of the procedures and activities of CLL which can build strong cooperation and personal relationship between the teacher and the students in order to make students enjoy their learning process. This method also helps the students step by step from
birth stage to independence stage which fosters the students being independence. It is also found that the students can feel secured in learning English by using this method through giving opportunity for them to use their mother tongue in the early stage. The method used in this study is library research. Readings are obtained from various sources that are processed and described in a descriptive way. This study is expected to be useful for other English teachers.
