This study aims to examine the relationship between the unemployment rate with the quality of life in cities in Java. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data This research is a qualitative descriptive analysis using the quadrant test method to analyze the relationship between the unemployment rate and quality of life with a span of one year (Cross Section) in 2020. Research Results High and low unemployment rates can affect the level of quality of life. But this cannot guarantee that if the unemployment rate is low, the quality of life will be high. If unemployment is high in an area, special attention is needed from the government so that it can provide adequate employment opportunities for those who are unemployed and provide job counseling and training to the community so that they can create jobs by opening their own businesses according to their respective interests and skills.
