Hoax spread on social media regarding the Covid-19 vaccination. One of them is the hoax that the arm used by the vaccine can attach metal coins to the vaccine contain magnets. The government through online media gave a strong statement denying the hoax, one of the online media that actively reported on the case was Republika.co.id. This study aims to find out how the discourse of Republika.co.id in the news of the Covid-19 vaccine hoax. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. This research theory uses Theo Van Leeuwen's discourse analysis model. The focus of this research is news about the Covid-19 vaccine hoax video spread on social media. The analysis was carried out with the analysis of Theo Van Leeuwen's discourse, divided into Exclusion and Inclusion. The results of this study found that there are types of exclusion and inclusion, in exclusion, namely pasivation and nominalization. While inclusion there is deference, objectification, categorization, identification, determination, and assimilation, where the news Republika.co.id focuses on the government in an effort to eradicate vaccine hoaxes, there is no marginalization in hoax spreading groups. Republika.co.id gives good meaning to government groups. Republika.co.id focusing on the government group is more dominant, so that it can be concluded that the news is carried out to provide public education and support for the government in eradicating hoaxes regarding the Covid-19 vaccine.
