In the implementation of a project sometimes encountered obstacles that can affect the duration of the work, such as uncertain weather conditions that have an impact on delays in project implementation. In this case, a logical and realistic scheduling is needed. The purpose of this planning is to obtain the duration of the plan after crashing followed by linking dependencies between activities, then preparing schedules with the PDM method using Microsoft Project 2020 tools in order to get a logical and realistic schedule. The analysis was done by utilizing / shortening (crashing) by adding working hours (overtime) for 3 hours. The implementation of the project for the construction of The Disaster Laboratory Building of the University of Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh whose duration after calculation using the crash duration method, it was found that the time needed to accelerate the implementation of The Disaster Laboratory Building of the University of Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh with the Alternative 1 work calculated with normal time and obtained 182 days Alternative 2 expedited 1 Week is for 176 days, and with alternative 3 expedited 2 weeks is for 170 days. With the acceleration of the completion of The Disaster Laboratory Building of Syiah Kuala University of Banda Aceh, additional costs are required where the cost before the acceleration is RP4. 428.459. 981.78 after accelerated 1 Week there is an additional cost to Rp 4,456,193,844. 17 and after accelerated 2 weeks there is an additional cost of Rp. 4.665.845.992,60.
