Akhir desember 2019, dunia dikejutkan dengan munculnya virus baru yaitu coronavirus yang disebut coronavirus disease 2019. penelitian ini berjudul “analisis framing pemberitaan tentang covid 19 di media online kompas”. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara media online kompas menampilkan dan mengemas pemberitaan tentang covid 19 periode maret 2020 serta pembingkaian berita media online ini terhadap pemberitaan covid 19. jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. hasil penelitian ini adalah media online kompas.com melakukan framing netral dan tidak memiliki kecenderungan kepada satu pihak. dalam menyampaikan informasi, kompas.com selalu menampilkan unsur make moral judgement sebagai penilaian moral karena berita yang diambil sangat berkaitan dengan upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat agar dapat bekerjasama dengan pemerintah dalam menangani virus covid yang ada di indonesia. kata kunci: framing, media online, berita, covid 19

At the end of December 2019, the world was shocked by the emergence of a new virul, namely a coronavirus called coronavirus disease 2019. This research is entitled "Analysis of Reporting Framing about Covid 19 in Kompas Online Media". This study aims to determine how does the online media Kompas display and package news about covid 19 fot the March 2020 period as well the framing of this online media news regarding the news of covid 19. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative method with the documentation method as a data collection technique. The results of this study are online media Kompas.com framing neutral and does not tend to one side. In conveying information, Kompas.com always displays an element of make moral judgment as a moral judgment because the news taken is closely related to the efforts made by the government, so that it can increase public confidence so that they can work together with the government in dealing with the Covid virus in Indonesia.
