Diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit tidak menular. penyakit ini membutuhkan adanya perubahan perilaku pada penderitanya, salah satu faktor yang dibutukan agar dapat merubah perilaku penderita yaitu dengan self-efficacy. self-efficacy diperlukan untuk meningkatkan hasil manajemen diabetes dalam mengontrol kadar gula darah dengan baik. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran self- efficacy manajemen penderita diabetes mellitus peserta prolanis di kota banda aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta prolanis penderita diabetes mellitus yang berjumlah 100 penderita di puskesmas baiturrahman. teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner diabetes management self-efficacy scale (dmses). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 85 penderita diabetes mellitus kategori self-efficacy tinggi (85%) dan 15 penderita diabetes mellitus kategori self-efficacy rendah (15%). kesimpulan pada penelitian ini bahwa penderita sudah memiliki self-efficacy manajemen diabetes mellitus type ii. diharapkan sebagai acuan tim manajemen puskesmas agar dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy manajemen pada penderita diabetes mellitus seperti perawat komunitas yang memberikan edukasi, melakukan konseling, serta pelaksanaan program-program khusus untuk penderita diabetes mellitus.



Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a non-communicable disease. This disease requires behavioral changes in the sufferer because it takes a long time to manage and manage it. One of the factors needed to be able to change the patient's behavior is self-efficacy. This self-efficacy is needed to improve the results of diabetes management in controlling blood sugar levels properly. The purpose of this study was to describe the self- efficacy of management of type II diabetes mellitus at the Banda Aceh City Health Center. This study uses a descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were members of the prolanis with diabetes mellitus at the Baiturrahman Health Center. The sampling technique used was the total sampling technique. Data was collected using the Diabetes Management Self-Efficacy Scale (DMSES) questionnaire. The results showed that 85 patients with diabetes mellitus in the high self-efficacy (85%) and 15 patients with diabetes mellitus had low self- efficacy (15%). The conclusion in this study is that the patient has performed self- efficacy management well. The recommendations of this study are as a reference for the management team of the Puskesmas in order to improve self-efficacy management in patients with type II diabetes mellitus such as community nurses providing education, conducting counseling, and implementing special programs for people with diabetes mellitus.
