Nilai karakter religius anak adalah suatu kebiasaan melakukan hal-hal yang baik sesuai ajaran agama seperti bersikap sopan santun, saling toleran dengan teman, patuh dan taat melaksanakan aturan. Bagaimana mengembangkan nilai karakter religius anak usia dini melalui metode bercerita di TK FKIP Unsyiah menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan nilai karakter religius pada anak usia dini di TK FKIP Unsyiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Pada setiap siklus terdapat 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia dini pada Kelompok B2 TK FKIP Unsyiah pada tahun ajaran 2016 berusia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 15 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tindakan prasiklus anak yang belum berkembang terdapat 10 orang anak (66,6%). Mulai berkembang terdapat 4 orang anak (26,7%). Berkembang sesuai harapan terdapat 1 orang anak (6,7%). Sedangkan anak yang berkembang sangat baik belum terlihat pada tindakan prasiklus. Pada tindakan siklus I yang belum berkembang ada 4 orang anak (26,7%). Mulai berkembang ada 6 orang anak (40%). Pada kategori berkembang sesuai harapan ada 5 orang anak (33,3%). Sedangkan anak yang berkembang sangat baik belum ada. Pada tindakan siklus II tidak terlihat lagi anak yang belum berkembang. Mulai berkembang 2 orang anak (13,3%). Berkembang sesuai harapan ada 4 orang anak (26,7%), dan berkembang sangat baik terdapat 9 orang anak (60%). Pada tindakan siklus II menunjukkan bahwa persentase anak mendapatkan bintang 3 dan 4 mencapai angka lebih dari 80%. Di simpulkan bahwa nilai karakter religius anak melalui metode bercerita di TK FKIP Unsyiah Banda Aceh mengalami perkembangan. The value of the religious character of the child is a habit to do the good things that according to religious teachings such as being polite, mutually tolerant with friends, submissive and obedient to implement the rules. The problem of this research is to develop the value of the religious character of early childhood through storytelling in TK FKIP Unsyiah. The aim of this study was to determine the value of the religious character development in early childhood in TK FKIP Unsyiah. This study used classroom action research conducted in two cycles. In every cycle has four stages, there are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were young children in the group B2 TK FKIP Unsyiah in the academic year 2016, it consisted 5-6 years old who totaled 15 people, they are 11 boys and 4 girls. Data were collected through observation and performance. The results showed that the action pre-siklus with undeveloped category there are 10 children (66.6%). In the category began to flourish there were 4 children (26.7%). In the developing category based on the expectations is 1 child (6.7 %). While the children are capable of developing very well yet seen in action pre-siklus. In cycle I there are 4 children that have not developed (26.7%). In the category began to flourish there were 6 children (40%). In developing category based on expectations there are 5 children (33.3%). While there is not the children are developing capable very well. In the second cycle further children do not appear in underdeveloped category. In the category began to flourish there are 2 children (13.3%). In the category of developing based on expectations there are 4 children (26.7%), and in the very well developed category, there are 9 children (60%). The success Indicators of this research is if the percentage of children get 3 and 4 as much as 80%. In the second cycle showed that the percentage of children get 3 and 4 reached more than 80%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the value of the religious character of children through storytelling in TK FKIP Unsyiah Banda Aceh was developed. The final result of the learning process through storytelling methods for developing value religious character in early childhood have been successful.
